Parking at Dalplex
The Dalplex lot has 40 dedicated spots designated for valid Dalplex member parking permits from 7am-4:30pm, as well as 16 Hot Spot spaces.
Dalplex member parking permits can also be used for the other non-metered spaces in the Dalplex lot from 4:30pm-1am on weekdays and on weekends from 7am-1am.
If you have a regular Dalhousie faculty/staff or student parking permit, you will be ticketed and/or towed if you park in a Dalplex member designated space between 7am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday.
If you have a valid Dalplex member parking permit and park either in a space reserved for Dalhousie faculty/staff or students between 7am-4:30pm or in a Hot Spot space without having paid the required fee, you will also be ticketed and/or towed.
Accessible Parking Spots
There are five (5) accessible parking spots in the Dalplex lot. A valid Dalplex or Dalhousie University parking permit and an accessible parking permit are required. They are indicated on the map below by the blue spots.
Electronic Vehicle (EV) Parking Spots
There are six (6) EV spots in the lot at Dalplex. They are indicated on the map below by the colour green.
The EV spots are reserved for the use of EVs only. EV users do not need a permit but ONLY EVs may park there, and they MUST be plugged in.
Visitors wanting to use the charging stations at Dalplex will need to download the FLO app or use a FLO card for payment. Users must also pay $2 per hour via parking meter while charging.
We ask users to be conscious of how long it takes to charge their vehicle and to move at the end of charging to allow another vehicle to use the resource.
