The Oulton-Stanish Clinic location opens May 19th, 2026!
We are excited to offer services from two different locations: Dalplex & the Oulton-Stanish Centre. Please review our team page to learn where each physiotherapist is practicing. Our online booking portal will also highlight which site you are booking at.
Dalplex
The Dal Physiotherapy Clinic is located in the Dalplex, on Dalhousie University's Studley Campus. Upon entering the main doors, continue to the Dalplex client expereince centre. The customer service representatives will direct you from there.
Please note that the Dalplex client experience centre will require proof of your physiotherapy appointment upon your sign in for safety and security reasons, if you do not have a Dal Card or a Dalplex Membership card.
To gain entry without a card please show your appointment confirmation email or SMS message to the Dalplex staff when signing in. If you forget your device to gain entry, please give your verbal consent to the Dalplex staff to call the DPC to gain entry by appointment confirmation.
If you have booked an appointment same day, you will be required to give verbal consent to the Dalplex staff to call the DPC to gain entry by appointment confirmation.
Dalplex Parking
Dalhousie Physiotherapy Clinic has two designated parking spaces.
- ONLY clients with an appointment time are eligible to park in one of the two spots designated by signs for clinic use.
- When clients arrive at the Dalplex reception, they will be required to enter their licence plate information (or make and model of their car) in the sign-up book. This aids Dalplex and security staff in confirming client vehicles.
- Dalplex reception will provide a parking pass that is to be placed on the car dash.
- Please return the pass to the reception when finished with your appointment. (Front desk may ask for a piece of ID, to ensure the return of the parking passes for others use.)
Oulton-Stanish Centre
In May of 2026 we expanded our clinic into the Oulton-Stanish Centre to better serve the Halifax community and provide new accessability to our services.
Our expanion clinic is on the second floor of the Oulton-Stanish Centre, also known as the Scott McCain & Leslie McLean Community Wellness Level. To access our clinic you will enter through the Student Health and Wellness Centre (SHWC) via one of two doors. The first door is located on LeMarchant St, and the the other on South St adjacent to the Oulton-Stanish Centre entrance.
Oulton-Stanish Centre Parking
Patients are welcome to continue to park at our spots within the Dalplex parking lot and walk up to the new clinic (approximately 3min walk). There are two additional spots located on South St, outside of the Oulton-Stansih Clinic.
An additional option is street paid parking. There is a pay station on LeMarchant Street or the options of paying through the HotSpot (the same process you would use if parking downtown Halifax).
