Update: Dal Athletic Facilities
Valued Dalplex students, members and community,
We’re touching base, as you’ve likely heard that the Government of Nova Scotia recently announced that fitness facilities are permitted to reopen starting June 5, 2020.
We are developing a phased reopening plan to allow you to return to Dalplex safely. As you know, Dalplex, Sexton Gym, Langille Athletic Centre and Wickwire Field are all facilities within Dalhousie University, and aligning with a broader university-wide “Return to Campus” plan will be a key factor in the reopening of our athletic and recreation facilities.
While we are not able to set a reopening date at this time, rest assured that we are working diligently to welcome you back to our facilities as soon as possible.
Dalhousie Physiotherapy Clinic
The Dalhousie Physiotherapy Clinic is now open. The clinic continues to arrange virtual physiotherapy care. Please contact email@example.com or 902 494-1502 to schedule appointments.
We are still unable to allow anyone access to the building to retrieve items from their lockers.
On March 23, we announced we are proactively suspending all monthly membership and service payments as of April 1, 2020. This suspension of fees continues at this time and will remain in place until we are able to re-open to our members. The suspension includes all monthly membership fees, locker rentals and towel services.
We are committed to keeping our students and valued members up to date and will share any new information as it becomes available.
We hope you are continuing to stay active and encourage you to follow our social media accounts for some tips to being healthy while practicing physical distancing. You can also check our Free at Home Fitness Resources page with new workouts added Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays.
Thank you for your patience and understanding, we hope to see you soon!
