Further Extended: Athletic Facility Closure

Valued Dalplex students, members and community,

We’re touching base again amid the continued concerns around Novel Coronavirus (COVID 19). Based on nation-wide efforts to continue social and physical distancing, Dalhousie University extending the closure of all of its athletic facilities including Dalplex, Studley Gym, Wickwire Field, Sexton Gym and Langille Athletic Centre until further notice.

Dalhousie Physiotherapy Clinic

The Dalhousie Physiotherapy Clinic remains closed, however the clinic is now able to arrange virtual physiotherapy care. Please contact ptclinic@dal.ca to re-schedule appointments.

Lockers

We are unable to allow anyone access to the building to retrieve items from their lockers.

What does this mean for your membership?

On March 23, we announced we are proactively suspending all monthly membership and service payments as of April 1, 2020. The suspension of payments includes all monthly membership fees, locker rentals and towel services and will remain in place until we are able to re-open to our members.

We are committed to keeping our students and valued members up to date as we continue to navigate this unprecedented situation and will share any new information as it becomes available.

We hope you are continuing to stay active and encourage you to follow our social media accounts for some tips to being healthy while practicing social distancing. You can also check our Free at Home Workouts page with new workouts added Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays.
