Move More Challenges are here!
Are you ready to Move More during lockdown? Join us in one of our Move More Challenges this month!
With three options each week our Move More Challenges will help you continue to move in the great outdoors during the next three weeks of lockdown!
How it Works
There will be three challenges each week: steps, run and roll. Each challenge starts on Friday and runs until the following Thursday.
- Sign Up – we’ll send you a welcome message detailing the challenges.
- Pick a challenge and track your progress
- Share your numbers – We’ll send you an email on Wednesdays with a link to upload your weekly totals.
Step Challenge: Research shows that setting a step goal of 10,000 steps per day is an excellent way to stay healthy! In this challenge we challenge you to take 10,000 steps per day! Up for it?
Run Challenge: 150 minutes of moderate to vigorous physical activity per week is recommended for Canadian adults to stay healthy. Running or jogging are two excellent ways to achieve this with 150 minutes per week. Ready to hit the road?
Roll Challenge: We challenge you to cover 100km in a week on your bike, rollerblades, wheelchair, or mobility aid! Are you ready to roll?
If you meet or exceed the movement goal for your challenge, you will be entered into a draw for one of three Dalplex prize packs each week!
If you participate in all three weeks of the challenges, you will be entered into a draw for a Fitbit! Sign up for the same challenge each week or mix it up! The choice is yours!
