Climbing Adventure Camp

For ages 7-11

The Climbing Adventure Camp is designed for beginners and youth with some climbing experience. Participants will have a climbing session each day with a recreational approach to climbing, plus game play, swimming and slacklining. The emphasis of this camp is to introduce basic climbing movement skills, how to care for climbing equipment, putting on harnesses, tying into the rope and assisting in holding the rope for the climber. Campers in this age group who have previous climbing experience and/or who have attended past climbing camps will still feel challenged by trying to master these skills.

All full day camps include lunch in one of Dalhousie’s cafeterias, a t-shirt, a swim in the Dalplex pool and a varsity game pass.
