Varsity Teams
The Dalhousie Tigers proudly wear black and gold and field men’s and women’s teams in basketball, cross country, hockey, soccer, swimming, track and field and volleyball. Representing the Tigers are over 300 student-athletes, coaches, trainers and managers.
A third of our student-athletes earned a GPA of 3.45 or higher last year and in doing so were named CIS Academic All-Canadians.
Since 2000 the Tigers have won 88 AUS championships and 2 CIS championships, along with plenty of other individual medals and honours at both the regional and national levels.
If you're a Dal student, you can try out for one of the 14 varsity sports teams that compete regionally against other university teams in the Atlantic University Sport (AUS) conference and nationally in Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS).
